LitUp Teen Literature Fest is Taking Over Downtown Knoxville!

On Sunday October 13th Knox County Public Library’s LitUp Festival will be taking over downtown Knoxville! All day long there will be free activities that explore creativity and thinking for teens ages 13-18. A few activities include author talks, writing workshops, live music, and poetry slams – just to name a few.

This free event will kick-off at 1 p.m. on the Market Square stage. You can stop by the information tent in Market Square to pick up a festival map and a schedule from 1- 7 p.m. Make sure to be one of the first 500 pre-registered and win a free LitUp tote bag! To review the full list of activities, check out the event program.

The event is created for teens, by teens from schools across Knox County. These programs, authors and events for the festival have been created to develop the future of teens and young adults, by helping kick-start some of their imagination and creativity. With the amazing author lineup attending the festival as well, crafts along with workshops, book signings and more will be available!
