“I want to get to KEC, but I don’t know how?”
The Knoxville Entrepreneur Center is located in beautiful, downtown Market Square directly below the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce. While the office is within easy walking distance for people downtown, there are other options for getting here that can be accessed by the greater Knoxville area.
KEC is located at 17 Market Square Suite 101 Knoxville, TN 37902. If you are having trouble finding us, feel free to call (865) 282-4322.
By Car:
If you will be arriving by car, parking in one of the several garages will be the best option as street parking is limited. We recommend using the Market Square Garage, the Locust Street Garage, or the Promenade Garage for quick access to KEC. Market Square and Locust Street charge $1 per hour to park, and the Promenade Garage charges $5 a day.
Uber and Lyft services are also an option and will take you directly to Market Square for a fee.
Via Public Transit:
Knoxville Area Transit (KAT) offers three different types of public transit options that include stops near KEC.
Trolley- There are three trolley lines that run through downtown Knoxville. KEC can be reached from either the orange, blue, or green lines depending on where you get on. The trolleys are free to ride, but they only cover the general downtown and University of Tennessee campus area.
KAT Bus- The KAT buses include routes that span across the entire Knoxville area. KEC has KAT bus stops located all around the Market Square area that make it easy to get here. These buses can be utilized for a fee which cost varies based on the type of pass you obtain. For example, a one day pass costs $4. KAT buses also offer various payment options and reduced fair opportunities for those that qualify. University and trade school students qualify for a discounted bus pass as well.
LIFT Bus- The LIFT bus service is a paratransit service for those who cannot utilize the regular KAT bus services. Through reservation, this is a door-to-door service that can drop you off near Market Square in order to access KEC.
We hope to see you soon!
