Social Media Planning Session Recap
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our recent Make. Learn. Grow. Social Media Content Planning Session! We loved seeing so many makers and small business owners come together to learn, ask thoughtful questions, and share ideas for growing their businesses online.
Led by Holly Rainey, the workshop focused on building a practical social media strategy that participants could immediately put into action. From setting clear business goals and identifying content pillars to optimizing social profiles, finding the right keywords, and planning a monthly content calendar, attendees walked away with tools to make social media feel more intentional and manageable.
Whether you’re hoping to build community, reach new customers, increase sales, or simply stay consistent, these slides are a great resource to revisit as you plan your upcoming content.
Browse the presentation below for a refresher on the strategies and tips shared during the workshop.
Holly Rainey runs socials for both KEC and the Maker City, amongst several other influential platforms in the Knoxville area. She often offers her knowledge on how to balance tasks, stay ahead, and share Knoxville’s stories in workshops across the city. Her next Social Media Content Planning workshop is September 8th. You’ll learn how to create a strategic content plan, better understand your audience through insights, and build a monthly content calendar that makes posting easier and more effective.
